Nu Flow manufactures and installs innovative green technologies specifically designed for rehabilitating deteriorating or failed pipe networks. Nu Flow's systems provide a long-term, durable, affordable, quick, quiet and non-invasive solution for pipeline restoration whilst minimising disruption to system users and building occupants. The lining system has been successfully installed by Nu Flow technicians in the pipe networks for airports, ships, cultural heritage buildings, hotels, high-rise condominiums, hospitals, schools and many other commercial and industrial applications.

The Nu Flow Advantage

  • The system can be used in a variety of applications including underground utility services, oil platforms, ships, production facilities, residential buildings, schools, hotels and office buildings.
  • Nu Flow's epoxy coating and Cured-In-Place systems are suitable for remediation of most pipe materials including glass reinforced plastic (GRP), concrete, clay, steel, copper, cast iron, black iron, ductile iron, lead, unplasticised polyvinyl chloride (uPVC)and polyethylene (PE).
  • Our systems can be used on pipelines with diameters ranging from 12.5mm (½") up to 250mm (10").
  • Bends, elbows, reducers and T- and Y-junction pieces within the existing pipeline do not preclude the system from being used.
  • In industrial plants, such as food and beverage production, where hygienic piping solutions are required epoxy coated carbon steel pipes can provide a cost effective alternative to stainless steel.
  • Where pipelines are exposed to materials/liquids with high sulphuric acid content, such as copper mill factories, using epoxy coated pipes can mitigate the need for cathodic and anodic corrosion protection systems.
  • Epoxy coated pipes are resistant to saline water and can be used effectively in marine and shipping applications.
Cost effective
  • The Nu Flow system does not require breaking open floors, walls, pavements or digging in order to expose pipes since the network is repaired from within. This makes the process not only very cost effective compared to traditional pipe replacement (up to as much as 50% cheaper), but also avoids long downtime, displacements of occupants and the associated discomfort and financial costs.
    Corroded, blocked pipes require a bigger effort of the pumps to maintain the required flows and capacities. The Nu Flow lining system guarantees the original pipe capacity, resulting in both water and energy savings.
  • Epoxy lining is quick and minimizes downtime and disturbance to activities of the occupants. The whole process takes a fraction of the time of traditional repipe methods. For example, a repiping job that would normally take a full 6 to 8 weeks, can take as little as 3 days to complete.
  • The cleaning of the pipes with air and an abrasive component is safe and simple and doesn't use any toxic or chemical products. The removed corrosion debris can be disposed of without special safety precautions. The Nu Flow lining method uses a closed system, which makes it safe to use, even inside buildings. The lining itself is non-toxic and non-corrosive and the epoxy coating system is certified to be used in potable water systems.
  • Lining is an eco-friendly solution that creates no waste for landfills or for recycling. As the need for new piping material is eliminated, this rehabilitation process reduces the carbon emissions during pipe manufacturing or for extraction of raw piping materials. Lining prevents heavy metals from leaching into drinking water and stops leaks and breaks in sanitary lines that pollute watersheds and seep pollution into groundwater. Nu Flow's lining system leaves the smallest possible job-site footprint and the shortest installation cycle of any small-diameter lining system in the industry.
